Home Staging Tips
First Impressions ~
"Curb Appeal".
Going the extra mile to present your best first impression is a MUST!! Buyers make a decision if they want to go inside your home the minute they drive up. A freshly painted front door, a new welcome mat, all gardens trimmed and weeded with season appropriate flowers and/or decorations. All of this tells the buyer that you have taken care of their future home, and makes them want to see more.
Define Each Room's Purpose ~
Each room of your home should have ONE purpose. That purpose should be evident by the furniture and the decor.
Declutter & Clean ~
Start packing! On average, 75% of personal belongings should be packed up. This is without a doubt THE most important thing you must do before your house goes on the market. You're personal items distract the buyer from all of the qualities of the home. You are selling the house, not your stuff. Then you will be ready to CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN and SELL, SELL, SELL!!
Remember the Four Most Important Areas to a Home Buyer are the Kitchen, Family Room, Master Bedroom & All Bathrooms.
